Nubia has presented a new folding phone model, Nubia Alpha, with a 4-inch screen that is flexible. Its appearance is made of a wrist watch and it can be used to make calls, as well as sending SMS and measuring the pace of the heart rate, as recently shown in the Mobile World Congress in 2019.

 

The company calls it "a stand-alone device", which differentiates Nubia Alpha from other models of brands, like a smartwatch, more than a "smartphone". In fact, the device is rounded around the wristband and combines the functions of both products. In this way, this allows the reception and reception of calls, as well as the monitoring of cardiac rhythm. The company announced these devices last year in the IFA, but only determined some of its features, such as a built-in 4G modem, and a camcorder that would make video games. Now, during a Nubian event on MWC 2019, it is announced that Nubia Alphak is equipped with a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8GB of memory, 500 mAh of battery and a fast charge. Its charger is connected in a magnetic way.
