Supercomputing

It is dedicated to developing tools so that researchers from different fields (such as biologists, chemists, astronomers, physicists or engineers) can easily use supercomputers. Fundamental for the future that awaits us with Artificial Intelligence applied to practically all jobs, daily life and all fields of research.

Supercomputers are very powerful machines, let's say supermachines, that contain thousands of processors, or brains, that work at the same time to solve problems, whether it is climate change, the search for new drugs, energy sources, or understanding the Universe. To cover future work demands in this field, degrees such as the Degree in Data Science and Engineering, in AI, or in Bioinformatics are appearing.
